Secondary: 7th-12th Grades
MOCK TRIAL
The mock trial program immerses students in the art of debate, critical thinking, and public speaking. By taking on roles as attorneys and witnesses in a battle of wits, students must think on their feet and be both logical and winsome in trials against schools from all over the state of Alabama.
The classical principals of ethos and pathos that students study in rhetoric and logic are put into practice in a way that prepares them to advocate for their ideas in any future career or endeavor. The hands-on experience of trying cases against opponents builds confidence and courage to articulate and defend their ideas and beliefs thoughtfully and with wisdom.

HOUSE SYSTEM
Our house system fosters community, camaraderie, and friendly competition among students across grades 7th-12th.
